We also offer an Introduction to Deer Stalking course, that combines training and a live stalk, something that is perfect for those looking to take their first steps into the exciting world of deer stalking.
If you are a beginner, new to deer stalking, or want to learn how to get into deer stalking, there is no better place to go. Contact us on: 0203 981 0159 or email:
Unlike other providers who deliver 'in-house' training, our deer stalker training is nationally 'Accredited' and 'Approved'. All CDS staff are ‘Approved Witnesses’ for Deer Management Qualifications and Approved Verifiers (AV's) for the excellent PDS1 Deer Stalking Certificate, a nationally recognised deer-stalking-qualification
Those new to deer stalking can have confidence in knowing that the advice they receive is in line with best practice guidelines for UK deer management.
Our experienced professional stalkers are happy to offer help and guidance during normal stalking sessions; however, for those who want to gain a more solid grounding in the sport, we offer a wide range of accredited 'Proficient Deer Stalker' training courses that are available either infield or online via the huntingacademy
The 'UK Shooting & Hunting Academy' is affiliated to County Deer Stalking and is an easy to use, convenient, e-learning platform that provides not just access to the excellent 'Proficient Deer Stalking Certificate Level 1, but also access to a series of masterclasses and courses delivered by leading industry professionals that are designed to help you make a start in this fascinating field sport.
Once you have gained experience with us, we can also offer assistance and guidance in applying for a Firearm Certificate (FAC).
Expert advice and support is provided by Peter S Jones. Peter is one of the UK's most familiar faces in the industry and is himself a retired Police Officer and now, full time professional hunter & deer manager.
With national accreditation and over two decades of experience, we are best placed to offer, not just quality structured training, but also a first class reference for the police and assistance with 'Land Approval ', something which is a common stumbling block with many Firearms Applications.
For those who wish to progress, we also have our official members club the 'Capreolus Club', which is the finest club of its type in the UK and is the perfect platform from which to explore this exhilirating field sport.
