A fabulous time was had by all on the 9th September, when world famous Gun makers Holland & Holland, played host to the Capreolus Club and the Lunzer Wine Club at their London Gun Room.

The inspired combination of newly formed, London - based, large game hunting club - ‘Capreolus Club’ with the Lunzer Wine Club, made for a truly memorable and enjoyable evening.
Capreolus Club Chair Peter Jones kicked off the proceedings, highlighting Holland & Holland’s proud tradition as a prestige gun maker and introducer of some truly iconic big game calibres. With such accolades, Holland & Holland was the perfect setting for the Capreolus Club.

Arguably the finest gun room in London, it also presented a superb setting for Peter Lunzer of the Lunzer Wine Club, to introduce some excellent wines that included; Pol Roger Champagne, Domaine William Fevre, Chablis 2013, Chateau Lamothe Cissac, Cru Bourgeois, Haut Medoc 2009, and a Chateau Batailley, Cru Classé, Pauillac 2005.
Each wine was expertly introduced to guests by Peter Lunzer, who’s encyclopaedic knowledge of wines and wine related anecdotes, made for a highly amusing and interesting speech.
With some stunning double and bolt action rifles on display, gun room manager Andrew Ambrose of Holland & Holland was also able to give guests an insight into the aspirational world of H&H.
The Capreolus Club extends its thanks to the Lunzer Wine Club and hosts Holland & Holland for their support.
