This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone hoping to enhance their competency and skills in deer management and essentially means that an individual wishing to complete a deer management course can do so at no personal expense. 

Funding for courses is limited and tends to go quickly, so we would encourage you to apply now using the following application-form

In relation to the application process, to apply for funding of the ‘Proficient Deer Stalking Certificate Level 1’ Deer Management Course (DMC) once having completed your initial personal details, you should in ‘Sect 2’ complete the application as follows: 

Under “Title of Course Category” select: ‘Deer Management Courses’

Under “Title of Training Course” Select: ‘Deer Management Certificate’ (DMC)

Under “Name of Selected Training provider” Select: Capreolus Club

Under “Date of Training Course” state a date when you propose to enrol on the course, allowing sufficient time for your application to be processed by the fund.

Under “Address of location where training is to be completed” Enter: TBC.

Under “Cost of Training Course” Enter: £395-00 (this includes VAT and both the theory and practical element of the course)

Please then go on to complete the remaining application.

Once the Forestry and Arboriculture Fund has approved your application, you should email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with the authorisation code provided to you by the FATF. You will then be invited to enrol on the PDS1 course via the ‘Shooting & Hunting Academy’. deer-stalking-course
