The Capreolus Club celebrated Christmas in style last night, as the club's Christmas soirée got under way at London’s historic Carlton Club in St James.
Along with the usual over indulgence of fine wine and Champagne, the Carlton Club's head chef presented guests with an excellent selection of venison and game themed canapés including; Grey Leg Partridge with Pear and Walnut, Rare Roasted Venison Loin with Cranberry and Chervil, and Smoked Wild Duck with Orange Compote and Endive.
The evening also offered an opportunity for guests to view just some of the trophies achieved by Capreolus Club members during the last year. The display consisted of a superb pedestal mount of a Pere David Deer, CIC medals for Roe Buck and Muntjac, and SCI Gold medals for Boar and Red Stag.
It was a fabulous evening during which club members had the opportunity to meet and mingle with industry professionals and prospective applicants.
The Capreolus Club is a London based members club designed exclusively for deer stalkers and hunters of large game. If you would like to learn more about the Capreolus Club simply follow this link: capreolus-club Alternatively email:
