The Capreolus Club brings the year to a close with a thoroughly enjoyable Christmas gathering at the Cavalry & Guards Club in Piccadilly.

A particular highlight was the guest speaker, British mountaineer Nigel Vardy, AKA ‘Mr Frostbite’, recent star of Amazon Prime documentary ‘Frostbitten’, whose engaging and thoughtful talk on resilience, challenge and the outdoors resonated strongly with those present. His appearance reflected the club’s increasing ambition to engage with the wider outdoor community and to promote a broader understanding of conservation-led hunting and land management.
During the evening, Club Chairman Peter S Jones touched on another successful year, marked by high-quality outings, the addition of new stalking grounds to the club’s deer stalking syndicate and a steadily expanding membership. These achievements underscored the club’s commitment to providing varied and engaging experiences for its members.
Above all, the Christmas event was defined by good humour, warmth and camaraderie, leaving attendees in no doubt that the Capreolus Club is in excellent health as it looks ahead to the coming year.
