County Deer Stalking Welcomes James Mott as Assistant Stalker

As many will have seen, during January this year we advertised for an Assistant Deer Stalker.

We were delighted to receive a large number of applicants for the role, and may I say a big thank you to all those that took the time to forward their details.

The reasons for the advert were two fold, firstly we are delighted to have seen a huge increase in demand for deer stalking outings over recent years, and secondly, from a deer management perspective, we need to keep pace with the number of deer that should be culled, over what is an increasing area of land.

It is therefore with great pleasure that we welcome James Mott to the ‘County Deer Stalking’ team. James is a highly accomplished Stalker and Deer Manager with considerable experience of managing deer throughout the South East of England.

James has also been a member of the ‘Sporting Rifle Club at Bisley’ and has held a DSC1 qualification and firearms Certificate for over ten years.

Having been mentored by a professional stalker in Hampshire he will, I am in no doubt, bring with him considerable expertise and knowledge to both the field and to future articles and reviews.
