Beginners

At County Deer Stalking we pride ourselves on being able to offer a number of safe and structured courses that are aimed at providing assistance to beginners and those new to the sport.

We provide support and guidance in helping you progress from a novice to a more accomplished deer stalker.

All CDS staff are ‘Approved Witnesses’ for Deer Management Qualifications so you will have the confidence to know that the advice you receive is in line with best practice guidelines for deer management.

Our experienced professional stalkers are happy to offer help and advice during our normal stalking sessions; however for those who want to gain a more solid grounding in the sport, we have offer a wide range of 'Proficient Deer Stalker' training courses.

Once you have gained experience with us, we can offer you assistance and guidance in applying for your own Firearm Certificate (FAC). Expert advice and support is provided by one of our Directors Peter Jones, who is himself a retired Police Officer and is now a full time professional deer manager. We are also able to offer a first class reference for your local police force.

Crucially, we can also offer assistance with 'Land Approval ' for all levels of experience, something which is a common stumbling block with many Firearms Applications.

For more information contact Peter Jones directly on 0208 239 7311 or by email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
